The largest nonprofit healthcare delivery system in the United States uses Pexip as the backbone of its telehealth application. During the first few weeks of the pandemic, Pexip supported an 800% increase in utilization on its platform.
In Australia, Queensland Health started working with Pexip in 2016 to create a customized telehealth platform called the Queensland Telehealth Virtual Clinic. In 2020, Pexip helped the clinic increase the number of simultaneous external video calls by 1600%.
The Northern Health and Social Care Trust in Northern Ireland uses Pexip solutions at several of their facilities, including Clark Clinic, which offers telemedicine for children receiving treatment in pediatric cardiology, and a gestational diabetes unit, which provides remote care for pregnant women unable to travel for frequent appointments.

In addition to hospitals and health systems, Pexip is the backbone powering telehealth for service providers including Amwell, Visuwell, and Caregility.

Pexip meets the highest privacy and security standards with AES-256 encryption whether organizations choose a self-hosted or as-a-service option. The recently launched Pexip Private Cloud deployment option also gives healthcare organizations the ease and scalability of a shared cloud with the control, security, and privacy of a self-hosted solution, enabling adherence with strict regulatory compliance. Pexip is the first and currently only video communications company to bring such a deployment option to the healthcare market.

With a native integration with Epic EHR, a video visit can be launched directly from within Epic, making it easier to start a scheduled meeting or dial out to a third party for a second opinion. Physicians can start video visits directly from Hyperspace while continuing to document case notes in Epic. Providers can also greet patients from a familiar branded interface through custom branding options and APIs.
