Frequently asked questions

Who can buy through a marketplace?

Any commercial organization that has an active Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, or AWS subscription and a valid payment method set up with that provider.

Which Pexip products can I buy through marketplaces?

Many of Pexip’s products are available via marketplace including Connect for Teams Rooms, Connect for Zoom Rooms, Connect for Google Rooms, Connect for Microsoft Teams, and Connect for Google Meet.

For a comprehensive list, please see individual marketplace listings:

Why do I see the name Microsoft Marketplace instead of Azure Marketplace?

Microsoft recently consolidated its Azure Marketplace and AppSource under the unified Microsoft Marketplace. It still works the same, just under a different name.

What is a private offer?

A private offer is a customized plan created just for your organization. It’s not an off-the-shelf listing; it reflects your specific requirements for Pexip licenses, services, and pricing. You’ll receive your offer directly in the marketplace portal, where you can review and approve it securely.

Why should I buy through a cloud marketplace instead of directly from Pexip or a reseller?

Buying through a marketplace lets you use your existing cloud agreement and payment setup. It’s faster to approve internally, simplifies billing, and helps you retire your cloud committed spend. It also includes Pexip direct support, which isn’t always included when you buy through another channel.

Does my purchase count toward my cloud spend commitment?

Yes, purchases can count towards your Microsoft Azure Consumption Commitment (MACC), Microsoft Commit to Consume (CtC) agreement, and Google Cloud Commitments.

I see also get Pexip’s Professional Services. What does that include?

Pexip’s dedicated engineers will be there to support you every step of way once you accept your private offer. You’ll get hands-on help activating your licenses, deploying Pexip, rolling it out to your organization, and managing the solution over time.

How long does the buying process take?

Once your private offer is ready, the entire process can often be completed within a few business days. Simply review the offer in your marketplace portal, accept it, and the Pexip team will handle setup and activation.

How will I be billed?

You’ll receive one consolidated invoice from your cloud provider — the same way you’re billed for other Azure, Google Cloud, or AWS services. Pexip charges appear as a line item, making it easy to track and manage within your existing billing workflow.

Can we add Pexip to our existing enterprise agreement?

Yes. Pexip can be added to your current cloud enterprise agreement with Microsoft, Google, or Amazon. This avoids creating a new vendor record and keeps your financial operations streamlined.

Is it secure to buy through a marketplace?

Absolutely. All purchases follow the marketplace’s built-in security, compliance, and privacy standards. This often reduces internal vendor risk assessments and helps speed up approval.

Who do I contact if I want to buy or have questions?

You can reach out directly to Pexip or your authorized reseller. They’ll help design the right solution for your needs and prepare your private offer in your chosen marketplace.
