How to resolve

“This system is decommissioned from Cisco Cloud Services"

Cisco RoomOS support for legacy collaboration endpoints ends. Your meetings don’t have to.

Looking for an endpoint registration alternative?

Cisco has announced End-of-Life for its MX, DX, and SX video conferencing endpoints. Starting August 4, Webex cloud services will no longer be available, meaning:
  • End users will see a decommission notice displayed on the screens.
  • All registration and calling functions will be immediately disabled.
  • Administrators will only be able to delete these endpoints; no other administrative actions will be possible.

Freequently asked questions

Will Pexip endpoint registration work with all my existing endpoints, not just Cisco?

Pexip registers all Cisco endpoints, including RoomOS-based devices to the most classic TANDBERG devices. See complete list of compatible devices.

Does Pexip support One Button to Push (OBTP) capabilities for Cisco endpoints?

Yes, Pexip’s One-Touch Join (OTJ) provides equivalent features. Works with Microsoft 365 and Google Workplace calendars. It generates the correct dial‑string for Teams, Zoom, Webex, and Google Meet and lights the big join button on the device.

Are the RoomOS models fully tested?

Fully tested and works with all MX / SX / EX endpoints.

Can I move to Microsoft Teams Rooms later?

Absolutely. We keep your endpoints online today and help you transition on your timeline. And when you transition, Pexip can connect your Teams Rooms to meetings that are not Teams (Zoom, Webex, Google Meet, and other).
