Today marks a big step towards that goal. We’re launching the first in a new generation of secure desktop applications, starting with Windows. This app is built to deliver smarter performance, user verification and validation, and a familiar, intuitive user experience. Our aim is to extend how regulated organizations can join our Pexip Secure Meetings, making them easier to use, deploy, and trust.
Video apps designed for regulated industries
Pexip’s new generation of apps is built for regulated industries, such as healthcare providers, government agencies, financial services institutions, and critical infrastructure organizations who handle controlled and even classified information. These are environments where trust, verified user identities, and compliance are foundational for every meeting.
Take a public prosecutor’s office as an example, where teams need to securely join hearings and meetings. With Pexip, identity management is tightly integrated, so those teams can trust that the people they meet with are who they say they are.
Plus, video rendering is offloaded from the CPU to the GPU, meaning smoother video and better performance, even on lower-spec devices.
