Orange Business selected Pexip as the video conferencing provider for Live Collaboration, its new trusted suite of collaboration tools designed to help organizations increase technological independence and retain control of sensitive data.
“We were chosen by Orange Business because of the level of security, reliability, and user experience needed in sensitive environments, along with the ability to integrate smoothly into the wider collaboration flow, including with BlueMind (email, calendar and directory), where we already have integration experience,” says Olivier Baraquin, VP South Europe, Pexip.
Orange Business says the suite is now commercially available in France, hosted on Cloud Avenue SecNum, and built to help companies and public organizations rein in collaboration-tool costs while strengthening control over security and operations.
Live Collaboration brings together email, calendars and directories (BlueMind), collaborative workspaces and intranet (eXo Platform), document co-editing (OnlyOffice), video conferencing (Pexip), telephony (Linphone), and email protection (Mailinblack) in one environment operated end-to-end by Orange Business. Orange says the suite is based on a 100% European software chain and offered under a single contractual model, giving organizations a controlled approach to collaboration.
In organizations where communications need stronger control, video needs to work as part of the wider collaboration environment. It needs to be secure, reliable, easy to use, and able to work smoothly with the tools people already depend on. As part of Live Collaboration, Pexip provides video conferencing designed to meet those requirements within a broader trusted environment.
“More organizations are looking for collaboration tools that give them stronger control without making daily work more complicated. That is what makes this launch important. Sovereign video needs to be part of a wider collaboration experience, and we are proud to support Orange Business with video technology designed for environments where trust, reliability, and operational control matter,” adds Olivier Baraquin.
The launch also reflects a broader shift in Europe. Orange Business positions the suite as a sovereign alternative for organizations looking to reduce dependency on a single cloud collaboration vendor, strengthen business continuity, and limit exposure to lock-in and digital supply chain risks. This is particularly relevant for government organizations and large enterprises that are under pressure to diversify their IT providers and keep tighter control over sensitive data. That includes organizations in sectors such as banking, healthcare, defense-related industries, and critical infrastructure, where security, resilience, and data control are often central requirements.
In sensitive environments, people need collaboration tools they can trust. Meetings must work smoothly, fit the policies and systems around them, and give organizations confidence in how sensitive information is handled. Live Collaboration brings that approach to the French market, with Pexip contributing secure video conferencing to the suite.
